Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 August 2026
These terms apply when you use the SimpleQuo website or free quote tool. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
About the service
SimpleQuo is an online quote builder for UK trades and small businesses. You can create quotes, download PDFs, and generate view-only share links. The free tool does not require an account. Optional paid features may be offered separately in future.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of prices, descriptions, VAT, and other details in your quotes
- Ensuring you have permission to use any logos, text, or client information you include
- Who you share quote links with — anyone with the link can view that quote
- Compliance with your own legal, tax, and professional obligations
SimpleQuo helps you format quotes; it does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Quotes you create are your documents, not ours.
Free tool and share links
The free quote tool is provided at no charge. Share links on the free tier expire 30 days after creation. We may change free-tier limits or features with reasonable notice where practical.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the website or API
- Upload malicious content or automate abuse of share-link creation
- Infringe the rights of others
We may suspend access if these terms are breached.
Availability
We aim to keep SimpleQuo available and working well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or third-party outages may cause temporary downtime. Saved share links depend on our hosting — back up important quotes locally (PDF download).
Intellectual property
The SimpleQuo name, website design, and software are ours or our licensors'. You retain ownership of content you enter. You grant us a limited licence to store and display quote data only as needed to operate share links and the service.
Limitation of liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from inaccurate quotes you create. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies when you use the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
